Placing a cap on your chimney or lining with stainless steel or aluminum (gas liner) is a great idea, but what about that ugly piece of shiny pipe sticking out the top of your beautiful chimney?

Now, with our Proper Topper™ (patent pending) , you can add to the style of your chimney and properly cap and terminate your lining at the same time.

These units are lightweight (can be sent UPS) and install quickly with no special tools or masonry work required.Units can be purchased without interior stainless system for custom and flexible uses.

The unit can also be used as a stand-alone chimney cap, which is installed simply by tightening the 4 screws against the flue tile. Chimney caps never looked so good!

Basic Dimensions and Specs of Proper Toppers™


Above shows a flexible liner connecting to a Proper Topper™, which comes apart into two sections for easy installation. The Proper Topper™ can support any normal length of flexible liner.

The Proper Topper is made of cast aluminum with stainless steel screen and hardware. Various adapters can be ordered with your Proper Topper (2 sizes) to terminate any size round chimney liner up to 10".

Note: We can do custom modifications such as mounting for flue tiles that do not extend upwards, etc.

Have an 8 x 12 tile? We can usually make a copper base for our PT1212 which will fit your rectangular tile.
